General Shareholders’ Meeting

Since 6 November 2009 PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. has been a public company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Holding 85% of all shares, the State Treasury is PGE's major shareholder. The remaining 15% of shares is held by the other shareholders.

Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board exercises ongoing oversight of the activity of Polska Grupa Energetyczna in all the fields of the company’s business. The particular responsibilities of the Supervisory Board include audit of the balance sheet, the profit-and-loss account and Management Board reports, and submission of an annual written report from these audits to the General Shareholders’ Meeting.

Management Board

The Management Board carries out the business of Polska Grupa Energetyczna, represents the company in all activities related to the company’s operations, and manages the company’s assets. The Management Board of Polska Grupa Energetyczna is made up of six members appointed by the Supervisory Board.
