PGE to enter WIG20 blue-chip index

After the session of 19 March 2010 shares in PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. will enter the Warsaw Stock Exchange's WIG20 blue-chip index.

The Company will have a 5.91% share in this prestigious index of the largest companies listed on WSE.

PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. debuted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in November 2009 after a heavily oversubscribed Initial Public Offering worth almost 6 billion zlotys. It was one of the largest IPOs in the history of Poland's capital market and Europe’s largest listing in 2009.

The Warsaw Stock Exchange’s Management Board has announced that after the session of March 19, the exchange's indexes will undergo the annual review in consequence of which PGE shares will enter the WIG20 blue-chip index portfolio.
