Bełchatów, 22 December 2011  – Today the representatives of PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna SA and the Alstom consortium have signed a settlement concerning PGE's claims resulting from delays in the performance of the 858 MW unit construction agreement.

Warsaw, 14 December 2011  – Today Mr Tomasz Zadroga has submitted his resignation from the position of President of the PGE S.A. Management Board effective as of 14 December 2011. The Supervisory Board accepted the resignation and entrusted Mr Paweł Skowroński, current Vice President of the Management Board, with the duties of President of the Management Board.

Warsaw, 9 December 2011 - Based on the thorough analysis of the information presented by Visagino Atomine Elektrine, PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna has decided to suspend its involvement in the nuclear power plant construction in Visaginas, Lithuania (near near the city of Ignalina).

PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna, the investor intending to construct the first Polish NPP, has announced the names of the three potential NPP sites. Choczewo, Gąski and Żarnowiec, the three short-listed sites, will undergo simultaneous, detailed surveys and site characterization work over the next 2 years. The results of the surveys and site characterization work will allow for the selection of the final site for the first Polish NPP.
